K: Can you tell us a little bit about yourself and your experience as an artist?

H: Hello, I'm jae eun Jang from hizack. I believe that it is important to have a balance and harmony between technical skills and the ability to create beautiful things.Therefore, I have experienced the fashion industry in various jobs such as schools, factories, and stores. After that, I created my own new medium called hizack to introduce the creative process in a cool way. Have fun watching!

K: What was the inspiration behind your art and latest collection?

H: Lately, I've been having fun unpacking our inner defenses through design.

Trauma, habits, appearance, personality - all the devices we use to hide what we perceive as our weaknesses are fun to observe! On the other hand, I acknowledge the defense mechanisms and propose the opposite concept of offensive mechanisms to break the mold, so I alternate my conventions by imagining the two groups fighting.

최근 저는 디자인을 통해 우리 내면의 방어 기제를 풀어가는 재미를 느끼고 있습니다.

트라우마, 습관, 외모, 성격 - 우리가 약점이라고 인식하는 것을 숨기기 위해 사용하는 모든 장치들은 관찰하는 것이 재미있습니다! 반면, 저는 방어 기제를 인식하고 이를 깨기 위한 반대 개념인 공격 기제를 제안하며, 두 그룹이 싸우는 모습을 상상하며 제 규범을 교차시킵니다.

K: What can we expect for the future of your brand?

H: “Keep making new things for a long time” It's every artist's dream. I try to maintain a balance within my own rules and processes. My only plan for the future is to be able to say yes to the question “hizack still active?” after a long time.
